New coffee procedure

One person boils the water, brews the coffee for four people, and pours one for himself. The plunger pot is left for anyone else to wash their own cup and pour their own coffee.

The days of the coffee magically appearing on the desk in the morning may soon be over. Praise be to the New Era!

Big owie

My little boy fell over at childcare and bumped his lower lip. There was blood everywhere from what I understand.

See qhat I mean about life continuing beyond the bounds of the caffeine world? Gotta go now!

Blah

Got to do timesheets, do work , and post in blog at the same time... can't be done!

Coffee Coffee

Is there anything more boring to read about? Why are you here? From the looks of the comments section, you aren't.

I didn't have an instant coffee this morning so I'm going to put the kettle on and make a cuppa for the office. You can like it, or you can lump it. I don't care.

Things are happening in my life that have nothing to do with coffee, and yet the only thing you will read about me here is coffee. Some of the things are too personal to discuss, others are too private or too secret to discuss. The only public face I can show is my desire to boil water, make coffee, give people coffee and drink coffee.

Getting to be a habit

Coffee this morning was simple and easy. Opened a fresh packet of ground coffee for this round, and MMMMMM does the freshly opened packet smell ooooooweeeeeee.

There are a good dozen empty tins of coffee on the shelves. How much of that have I drunk personally over the last year? Quite a bit I would say.

Thanks Andre

Very nice coffee Andre, did you microwave this one?

Cheating!

This morning there will be no coffee made by me in the office - I went out and bought one from Chris's Takeaway. Mmmm yum Chris's coffee goodness.

Greg the New Guy

Good coffee this morning, but a little disappointing that Greg the New Guy doesn't drink hot caffienated beverages of any description.

This time I left the coffee to sit in the plunger for about five minutes after agitation to settle the grounds before plunging. The end result was still about the same general amount of grounds, but a very smooth taste which I attribute to the additional infusion time.
